Services, Rates, and Packages
Room rates include breakfast. Stays of more than one (1) week receive a 10% discount. US currency is accepted but payment in Tanzania shillings is preferable, since currency exchange rates fluctuate and there is no village bank.
Single Room
- Resident – 20,000/= ($20 USD)
- Non-resident – 25,000/= ($25 USD)
- Self-contained – add 10,000/= ($10 USD)/night
Double Rooms or Shared Rooms
- Resident – 15,000/= ($15 USD)
- Non-resident – 20,000/= ($20 USD)
- Self-contained – add 10,000/= ($10 USD) / night
- Stays of more than one (1) week receive a 10% discount.
Day Meetings
If your organization would like to hold a Day Meeting (9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.) in the courtyard, we can accommodate up to 30 people.
- Cost – 50,000/= ($50 USD) per day
- Lunch included – 3,500/= ($3.50 USD) per plate
Conferences
You and your group are welcome to book the entire guesthouse and use our facilities for a conference or seminar. This includes government officials, tour companies, and other organizations. A TV and DVD player are available for your use. Please call in advance to see if you qualify for a special rate. We have special Conference Packages and will be happy to work with you to meet the specific needs of your group.
Dining Room Service
The chef offers a varied menu that includes different cultural foods as well as delicious traditional African meals. With a day’s notice the chef is happy to prepare a special meal to meet your request.
